The supplier will deliver and maintain Coasun’s revolutionary CoaMaxsystem for industrial scale production of a healthy shortening alternative targeted toward industrial scale bakeries.
The system is designed to meet the following operational criteria:

- use any vegetable oil or mixture of oils
- service available around the world

We understand that producing shortening in house is not the business of your bakery.
If you already produce shortening in your plant then the Coasun process and CoaMax system will dramatically reduce the complexity and cost you now incur to operate this process.
If shortening is shipped to your plant in liquid or solid format Coasun can simplify your material handling process. Rather than purchasing an expensive processed shortening CoasunSA is easily made on-demand in your plant with inexpensive and readily available liquid vegetable oils.
A minimum annual shortening consumption of approximately 400 tonnes will in most cases justify operating a CoaMax system in-house. At this volume we estimate the payback period on the equipment is approximately 18 to 24 months.
